RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Give leadership to the worship team both in rehearsal and on Sunday morning

·         Plan worship music in co-ordination with the Sunday morning themes as provided by the Lead Pastor

·         Provide pastoral leadership to the members of the Worship Team and their families

·         Provide a contemporary worship experience but with the ability to integrate hymns as appropriate

·         Introduce new worship music to reflect the changes in the meaning of “contemporary” worship

·         Give oversight to the AV technicians, providing for training, feedback and direction as necessary

·         Assist with purchase decisions for equipment necessary to enhance and expand the worship ministry

·         Maintain compliance with copyright and CCLI requirements

RESPONSIBLE TO the Lead Pastor

ASSISTANCE FROM the Church Secretary in scheduling musicians and distributing music, as well as other administrative needs.

COMPENSATION to be determined based on a 20 hour week including traveling time with reimbursement for travel.
